1. Data Collection

TagScout uses a secure proxy server (Cloudflare Worker) to communicate with Etsy's API. During this process:

• Your IP address is processed by Cloudflare but not logged by TagScout.
• Listing IDs you view are sent to the proxy to fetch tag data. They are not stored.
• If you purchase TagScout Pro, your email address is stored alongside your license key for order management purposes.
• Tag competition data is cached for 24 hours on our server to improve performance. No personal information is included in this cache.

2. Etsy API Usage

When you use TagScout to extract tags, the extension communicates directly with Etsy's public APIs solely to retrieve listing data (tags, views, favorites). This process only occurs when you explicitly trigger an extraction.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Paddle as our merchant of record for processing Pro version payments. Paddle may collect necessary billing information. Please refer to Paddle's privacy policy for details.
